Architecture

ITR Cockpit runs on SAP BTP within a Cloud Foundry environment using the SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP):

The SAP BTP Subaccount hosts the HTML5 App Repository, App Router, Destination Service, and SAP Authorization and Trust Management Service. The User Interface is built on SAPUI5. Application logic runs in Cloud Foundry using CAP, with use case logic, role templates, and scopes. Approval workflows are powered by SAP Build Process Automation. End users access the cockpit through SAP Build Workzone – Advanced Edition. The SAP on-premise system connects via Cloud Connector and OData API through SAP Connectivity Service over HTTPS.
